TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Union Christian Church is preparing for a blood drive to assist those in need.

The blood drive will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 1-6 P.M. in their gymnasium.

Members of the church decided to host the blood drive to assists community members during the current nationwide blood shortage.

“We as Christians, were called to serve, and any way we can do that were called to do it,” Family Pastor of Union Christian Church Andrew Kelley said. “What we understand is that we are answering God’s call to give our blood to someone else who needs it.”
