Two men from Vigo County remain in Vermillion County jail cells, after police found them in possession of narcotics.
On Saturday, December 1st, Vermillion County Deputies were investigating a suspicious persons complaint behind the Cayuga Burger King, that’s when they found 24-year-old Joseph Britton and 44-year-old Tim John Allen of Sandford, attempting to repair their vehicle.
Deputies say they noticed several signs of illegal activities among the three men, and initiated a search of their vehicle and person. During the investigation, Deputies discovered meth, marijuana and four meth pipes.
Britton and Allen were arrested on charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, and were transported to the Vermillion County Jail. Bond has been set for Britton at $7,000 and $10,000 for Allen.
