A report of an armed robbery leads to the investigation of a second incident.
On early Sunday morning, Washington Police received a call from the Chuckles Gas Station on Highway 57 N regarding an armed robbery.
Officers from the Washington Police Department and Daviess County Sheriff’s Office responded.
Authorities later discovered that someone tried to forcibly gain entry into 57 Liquors.
Both incidents are still under investigation.
