Two people were transported to the hospital after a rollover accident in Putnam County.

On Tuesday afternoon, Indiana State Police and Putnam County emergencies agencies responded to a crash on County Road 300 West near County Road 550 South.

Police say a 2007 Volvo, driven by 21-year-old Hunter Sego of Madison, Indiana, was headed northbound on CR 300 W when it failed to navigate a curve.

The car left the roadway and rolled over two times before coming to a rest.

Sego and his passenger, 20-year-old Andrudah Satishchandra of Greencastle, were transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for what is believed to be minor injuries.

Police say seatbelts and airbags protected them from suffering more serious injuries.
