Two face neglect, other charges following Parke County traffic stop

PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Two people were charged with neglect and other offenses Monday after officers found them intoxicated inside a vehicle with multiple children, according to a sheriff’s office report.

Parke County deputies were dispatched to follow the vehicle around 11:00 p.m. near US 41 on Golf Course Road when they found the individuals. 42-year-old Daniel Rollings of West Terre Haute was behind the wheel, according to the report, with 38-year-old Kelly Lientz of Terre Haute also inside.

Both Rollings and Lientz were arrested and charged with neglect of a dependent. Rollings faces additional charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and endangerment, while Lientz was also charged with public intoxication.
