Two arrested in Clay County on intimidation charges

BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – After an investigation conducted by Indiana State Police, 32 year old Jacinda Batchelor and 25 year old John Pastrick both of Brazil were arrested for intimidation and disorderly conduct.

The September 5th investigation revealed that the pair allegedly threatened multiple people at the Clay County Department of Child Services.

The two were at the department for scheduled to submit a certified chemical test. They allegedly became argumentative and confrontational with staff, verbally threatening serious bodily harm and intimidation with violent gestures.

Warrants were issued for arrest by the Clay County prosecutor. The two were arrested last night without incident.

Both are charged with disorderly conduct and intimidation. They’re held at the Clay County Jail on a $7,000 bond.
