Truck plows into home in Hymera


SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)- A truck plowed into a house in Hymera Monday morning.

Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom says the man, from Jasonville, driving the truck suffered a medical emergency leading to the wreck. It happened Monday morning around 9:20 in the 100 block of North Vine Street in Hymera.

According to authorities, the homeowner and his family were inside the home at the time of the incident, but were not injured.

The driver was taken to Regional Hospital for a back injury, as well as the medical condition that lead up to the event. 

No citations were issued. The driver’s name is not being released this time.
