TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The antique camper rally wrapped up their final days Saturday at Fowler Park with an open house.
Travelers from near and far arrived with campers dating back to the 1930s. Those in attendance were able to peek inside the trailers and see how they lived.
Roger Dulin, event coordinator, said he continues to host the event in honor of his late wife.
“It’s been very tough this year,” Dulin said. “I lost my wife to the COVID last year and I’ve been doing it all by myself. But she would have wanted me to go ahead and do it. And all the participants are very glad that I went ahead and did it. I’ll keep on doing it as long as I can.”
