Tokyo Rethinks Signage After Heavy Winds

Tokyo Japanese Cuisine is open after their sign fell on top of their roof causing damage last Wednesday night during the storm.

We talked with the general manager today who says they are down some tables inside due to repair, but the hibachi grill is open and they are willing to accommodate for large groups. It may be three weeks before repairs are complete.

“What it comes down to is it takes away a lot of our dining table space, so unfortunately it cuts it down to one side of the restaurant able to be open for dining,” Rocio Arias said.

The Tokyo sign will be replaced. The GM tells us they may reconsider how high the next sign will be hung.
