TERRE HAUTE Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)- Union Health athletic trainers Aimee Eldridge and Kylie Fendrick as well as Shelby Watts have been awarded the Safe Sports School Award for their efforts in keeping student-athletes healthy.
Officials said the three were awarded Thursday afternoon by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
Shelby Watts is a Indiana State University graduate assistant trainer and received this award for her compassionate and essential care for athletes across the Wabash Valley.
NATA said both athletic trainers, Aimee Eldridge and Kylie Fendrick, from Union Health displayed a high standard of athletic care in keeping student-athletes healthy on and off of the field.
