If you live in or drive through Terre Haute, listen up, we have a few road closures that may impact your daily commute.
Officials of the city engineering department have issued several rod closures for the rest of August and part of September.
- August 17th – Wabash Avenue between 5th and 6th Streets and 5th Street from Wabash Avenue to Ohio Street will be closed from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the Blue Angels Meet and Greet.
- August 18th – 2nd Street between Cherry and Chestnut Streets and Eagle Street between 1st and 2nd Streets will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for move in day at The Annex.
- August 25th – 15th Street between Locust and Elm Streets will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the Hamilton Center “We Live” Event.
- September 15th – 6th Street between Washington and Willow Streets will be closed from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Celebration of Recovery Month.
City officials advise folks to find alternative routes of travel for those days if possible.
