Terre Haute man arrested after gas station robbery

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Terre Haute man is behind bars after robbing a gas station just before 5 Wednesday evening.

Derrick w. Wilson is now in custody. The Terre Haute Police report that Wilson stole items from the Marathon Gas Station at 301 Poplar Street. When confronted, he threatened to kill the clerk and another man.

Police report that Wilson also pulled out a screwdriver and threatened to stab them.

Wilson was found by authorities at 7th and Oak Street and was taken into custody.

He’s charged with robbery.
