News

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)- The Terre Haute Humane Society is currently closed because of COVID-19.

The Terre Haute Humane Society’s General Manager Sarah Valentine said some of the staff tested positive.

The shelter is not accepting animals or adopting them out.

The pet food pantry is also closed and they can’t scan animals to see if they have a microchip.

The Humane Society would appreciate donations of bleach, cleaning supplies and pet food.

You’re asked to leave the items by the front door.
