TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– Animals at the Terre Haute Humane Society found forever homes today during Clear the Shelters.
The event was hosted in partnership with Toyota of Terre Haute.
Shelters across the Wabash Valley are seeing an increase in animals due to the pandemic.
The Terre Haute Humane Society has over 200 animal
Maggie Wheeler, Terre Haute Humane Society volunteer coordinator, said today’s event will help the shelter’s issue of overcrowding.
“A lot of shelters are being inundated with surrenders so this publicizes the amount of animals that are in need of new homes.”
