TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Eagles Aerie 291 is raising money for the Riley Children’s Hospital.

The fundraiser began in June 2021. With six months remaining, they hope to raise $200,000.

“It makes us all proud. We’re all proud to be a member of the Eagles because this is what we do,” Trustee Eagles 291 David W. Slaven said. “Everything we raise in our fundraiser 100 percent goes to the charity. None of it goes to any payroll, or any expenses.”

All of the money raised will be used to purchase a new ambulance to transport more patients.

On Friday January 14th, 2022, the Eagles will be hosting a bingo night starting at 5:30 P.M. at 823 Poplar Street. The funds collected will go toward the Riley Hospital project.
