TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Wabash Valley Children’s Dentistry in Terre Haute will offer exams and teeth cleaning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 23 free of charge for all local children.
Anyone age 18 and under will be able to receive the free treatments, and the free service will be done on a first come, first serve basis. Debbie Walker, an employee at Wabash Valley Children’s Dentistry, said it is important to educate children from an early age about dental care to instill good habits for later in life.
“We take care of our bodies when we have a cut or something, we go to the doctor,” Walker said. “But parents and children don’t necessarily know to do that with their dental care.”
The free examinations will be done at Wabash Valley Children’s Dentistry location in Terre Haute, located on East Hospital Lane south of downtown. For more information, visit the dentistry’s website or call (812) 234-5437.
