TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A Terre Haute mother and her husband are facing charges after a child was allegedly hit for trying to get cereal.
A DCS investigation led to four children being checked out at the hospital.
Court documents state that while three of the children checked out fine, one child had bruises on his body and medical professionals were also concerned about his weight being low for his age.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the children told investigators that their mother Tamara Nalli would hit the boy whenever he tried to get some cereal.
She’s facing a charge of battery on a minor. Her husband, Christopher Nalli, faces a charge of neglect of a dependent.
