TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce provides resources to business owners about how to take advantage of local tourism and community interest.
According to chamber officials the newly approved weekend road closures on Wabash Avenue will benefit local restaurants and bars. It allows for more outdoor dining.
Kristin Craig, Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce President, said new business will move downtown revitalization forward.
“What we’re going to see over time here is we’re going to see some businesses come in and try some things out and see what works and what doesn’t and find those niches that really work with the way our downtown is evolving and changing. I’m really excited about everything that’s going to come,” she said.
