TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – It’s been a big week for the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, with the unveiling of a new city logo and slogan and the announcement of a new strategic growth plan.
So Thursday night the excitement was vivid for the Chamber’s 106th annual meeting.
Six hundred small and big business owners got together for the meeting at Terre Haute Regional Airport. It was an opportunity for the chamber to expand their membership and honor successful members with awards.
“Recognition is really an important thing to do,” Chamber president Kristin Craig said. “Terre Haute is a great community. West Central Indiana is a great community. We have tons of great assets, so these awards just really allow us to highlight some of the really awesome things we have going on here,”
The Chamber unveiled the community plan and Terre Haute’s new brand earlier this week.
The Chamber also hosted United States Sen. Todd Young and U.S. Rep. Larry Bucshon and shared Terre Haute’s developments with them.
