TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — Friday was beautiful night to be outside and a great night to fly a balloon.
Fairbanks Park was the site of the balloon festival, where a number of colorful balloons took flight. The event, which benefits Chances and Services for Youth, also included food, entertainment and a lot of fun.
If you missed Friday’s event, the balloons will launch again Saturday at 5 p.m. at Fairbanks Park. Tethered Balloon Rides are ($20), and an Evening Balloon Glow starts (approximately 7:45pm).
