A statewide organization says Indiana has an opportunity to use technology and innovation to create high paying jobs.
On Friday, the Indiana Technology and Innovation Association hosted a call out at Launch Terre Haute.
The group is looking for members interested in voicing the interests of the industry to legislators at the statehouse.
“We think that if Indiana can make itself hospitable for entrepreneurship and innovation, in particular around technology, we have a better chance of attracting high wage jobs and high growth companies that create those jobs,” says John Wechsler, founder and CEO of Launch Fishers and the Indiana IOT Lab.
A couple of things the group would like to see include expanding the Venture Capital tax credit and helping certified tech parks around the state expand.
