Danny Tanoos’ lawyers have filed a motion to dismiss the bribery charges against him.
The motion to dismiss and a memorandum were filed today.
According to the court filing, his lawyers argue a lack of jurisdiction and lack of specificity in the charging information.
The former superintendent of Vigo County Schools is facing three counts of bribery in Marion County.
Tanoos is accused of improperly awarding school work contracts to ESG in exchange for perks.
His trial is scheduled for December 6.
