TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– Sycamore Engineering gifted Union Hospital with a heart shaped statue as a token of appreciation for healthcare workers.
The statue is 10 feet tall and five feet wide. It also illuminates at night.
Tyler Dinkel, from Sycamore Engineering, said it was gesture of good will.
“We just pray that this provides a beacon of hope and comfort to everyone that comes in the doors of these facilities, whether it’s for treatment or work,” Dinkel said.
Statues were also gifted to Terre Haute Regional and Horizon Health in Paris.
