TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — At least 100 people showed up in Downtown Terre Haute Saturday for a rally in support of President Donald Trump.
It was put on by Indiana State University student Blake Monroe.
Supporters stood in front of the Vigo County Courthouse, facing U.S. 41.
Many of them waved flags and held signs for the president’s re-election.
Counter-demonstrators stood on the opposite side of the highway. Many of them holding signs representing the LGBTQ community, Black Lives Matter and the Biden-Harris campaign.
According to Monroe, the rally was meant to be a peaceful show of support for the president.
