Sullivan FFA Chapter Receives National Recognition

The Sullivan FFA chapter of Sullivan, IN receives a very special honor, as it has been recognized in the 2018 National Chapter Award Program from the National FFA Organization.

The program recognizes outstanding FFA chapters from throughout the country that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. This includes growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture.

The Sullivan FFA Chapter received this prestigious recognition by sponsoring various community events and projects including the Sullivan FFA Fright Night, the Sullivan FFA Alumni Consignment Auction, creation and maintenance of the General Daniel Sullivan Nature Trail, invasive species control projects, and the annual Corn Festival Parade Float.

Chapters that received star ratings during judging July 22-27 and were recognized at the 2018 National FFA Convention & Expo, Oct. 24-27 in Indianapolis.
