SULLIVAN, Ind. – Hoosier Energy and the Sullivan County Emergency Management Agency will perform an annual test of county emergency tones Wednesday, March 18.
This check will include activating the horns once during the day. The test is scheduled to take place between 10 and 10:30 a.m.
The Emergency System contains four tones – each to be activated during the test.
Sullivan County Emergency sirens include a severe weather siren, a hazardous material high/low tone, an air-horn pulse used in the instance of a dam breach and a wale high wind warning sound for Turtle Creek Reservoir.
