The possiblity of a new ambulance facility in Sullivan County remains in question. On Monday. the county commissioners in the county decided to table the issue. Commissioners had hoped to resolve the matter, but they are still concerned about the money offered by the insurance company.
Last February, fire destroyed the building and since that time the county has been dealing with insurance concerns.
Earlier this month, officials agreed to make a counter offer to the insurance company. Commission President Robert Davis, says the insurance company is still not offering enough money. Davis say the commissioners are all in favor of making a final decision at next week’s meeting.
