SULLIVAN CO., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Sullivan County 4-H Fair officials said they are ready to move forward with regular fair activities this summer.
The fair will be held at the Sullivan County 4-H fairgrounds starting Saturday, July 17 and will last for a week. Fair officials say there will be some changes in grandstand events. Motocross will be held the weekend before the fair, and the fair derby will kickoff as the main event.
Last summer, the pandemic prevented 4-H animals from staying on the grounds over night which will be allowed this year.
“I’m excited for the kids, you know, I think everbody understood we did the best we could do under the circumstances last year, but i think everybody is ready to get back to normal, we’re ready to have a good fair,” Tim Wilson, fair board president, said.
