(WTWO/WAWV) Sullivan, Ind. — Authorities are still looking for information on the murder of a Sullivan man nearly seven years later.
Next Sunday marks the anniversary of Lowell Badger’s murder, and the Sullivan County Sheriff’s office reached out to the surrounding community late Tuesday evening.
Their post on social media reads, “Since Mr. Badger’s death, investigators with the Indiana State Police and Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office have worked side-by-side seeking answers in the case.
Police have followed up on hundreds of tips, conducted hundreds of interviews, and have searched dozens of properties in the two-state area.
Police believe someone in the area has credible information that can bring closure to this case. The entire community pleas with that person to step forward and allow Mr. Badger to Rest In Peace.”
Indiana State Police and Sullivan County Sheriff’s department are reminding the public of the anniversary in hopes that someone with information will come forward.
For anyone who comes forward with credible information, approximately 30,000 is offered as a reward.
