Strutting their Stuff

Mechanical beauties were taking full advantage of this spring-like weather at the 27th annual Vincennes University Student Car Show.

137 cars were strutting their stuff, it was so big this year, they were scrambling for parking spots! More than seven hundred people came out to view these metal beasts. A Daytona Speedster was on board, that was worth roughly one million dollars! 40 V.U. students parked, and judged the cars on display, and organizers say it’s a great learning tool.

“We kinda like to get people on campus, and it’s a really, real good learning experience for our students. I think a lot of students don’t realize how much work goes into having some cars parked in a parking lot. Sounds like something easy to do but we start working on it as soon as school starts,” says Director of Vincennes University Media Services, Jay Wolf.

The next V.U. Student Car Show is already being prepared, it rolls in the first Saturday in November 2017.
