Straight Ticket Voting Changes

The Vigo Co. Election Board met Friday to certify the Nov. 5 municipal election.

The Secretary of State’s Office is also letting voters know about something new this election.

Straight party voting has changed in Indiana. You can still cast a straight ticket but that won’t count for individual candidates for County Council or Town Council at Large.

Voters now need to select each candidate they want to elect for At Large County Council and Town Council seats.
