TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The run is still on for the annual Irish Dash and Parade hosted by St. Patrick’s Catholic School.

Those who participate will receive a free t-shirt and students who participate will take out candy.

All proceeds from the event will be put toward the eighth grade Washington D.C. trip.

Students said they’re happy to get the support.

“We always feel appreciated that we get so many people to help us out. I’ve had a lot of fun. My friends and I like to run together and overall we just have a really good time,” said 7th grade students Evie Mithell and Katie Henthorn.

Registration is open, but must be done by March 1 for a t-shirt. The race will take place on March 13.
