TERRE HAUTE, IND (WTWO/WAWV) Today marks day three of the Spread the Love food drive, aiming to help kids dealing with a shortage of food in the Wabash Valley.
According to the Sullivan Tobacco Prevention and Cessation (TPC) and Tobacco Free Vigo (TFV) Coalitions, 55% of Vigo County kids use a free or reduced lunch program.
“We wanted to help school-aged kids, we know there’s a big need for that in this area. We’re glad so many area agencies wanted to help out, ” Sarah Knoblock, Vigo County Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Coordinator, said.
