VIGO Co., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Halloween came early over the weekend with a Drive-Thru Scare at the Vigo County Fairgrounds.
Those who love a good fright were met by scary characters, who sometimes walked up to cars.
Though the event centers around the spooky season, portions of the money spent at concessions will support FSA counseling and the Vigo County Fairgrounds.
The first two nights also included a Halloween-themed movie.
The event’s organizer said he’s glad families can still have a good time, amid the pandemic.
“The families are getting out and doing something together and that’s what was all about,” said Danny Wayne.
The Drive-Thru Scare will continue on October 16 and 17.
