SULLIVAN Co., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Sullivan community gathered in a unique way Saturday to remember the life of a Sullivan High School student.
Snow angels were made at the high school in support of Cade Frey and his family
Cade was a graduate from Sullivan High School who died by suicide in November.
Many said Cade was loved by his family and friends
Now, his father wants to spread awareness about mental health in hopes that it will bring good to others.
“I want kids to be able to talk to their friends. Hopefully parents talk to their children and if someone is hurting, get the help that they need. Not all kids need counseling, not all kids need medication. A lot of kids just need to talk,” said Mike Frey.
Frey said he hopes this tragedy can bring change.
