Slain Horses Cause Of Death Revealed

We now know the cause of death of two horses that were slain on a farm in Putnam County.
Necropsy results from Purdue University state the cause of death for the horses to be massive blood loss caused by blunt or sharp force trauma.
Officials found wounds they identified as being bullet holes that caused the injuries that lead to their deaths.
Police are still looking for the suspects in this case and the family is still offering a 5 thousand dollar reward for information leading to an arrest.
Any information should be reported to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.
