Sisters of Providence honor COVID-19 victims, call on public for moment of pause

SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Monday COVID-19 victims will be remembered as the Sisters of Providence call for all people to mourn the over 100,000 lives lost due to the virus.

The Sisters will partner with the Leadership conference of women religious and other faith organizations at 1 p.m. Monday, they call on the public for a pause to honor those who have died.

To date, eight COVID-19 related deaths have been reported in Vigo County.
