Silver Alert Searches Continue

Two local cases that started as Silver Alert searches have become wider investigations.

The concern continues to grow for the two elderly people who remain missing.

Officials in Greene County continue searching for Linton man, 85 year old Robert Waters, he’s 6 feet and weighs about 195 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.

He was wearing a red baseball cap that said “Waters fishing”. He also had on a brown coat, a light blue, short sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

He was driving a red 1999 Chevrolet Blazer. The license plate number.. is  370-a-w-j. Police believe, he may require medical assistance and be in exteme danger.

It’s been about five weeks since terre haute police continue their search for 77 year old Alice Oswald.

Oswald is 5-feet-3 inches tall and weighs 120-pounds. She has gray hair, blue eyes and was driving a burgundy Honda CRV with Indiana plate —u–j–n–6–9–9.

Three days after the silver alert was issued in early November, Oswald’s home on the 23-hundred block of second avenue went up in smoke. Officials are investigating it as arson.

Area, water and fly over searches have been conducted by police to find Alice.

Any information on either of the two missing people, should be reported to police.
