VERMILLION Co., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Several people have been cited after an underage drinking party outside Perrysville on October 10, according to the Vermillion County sheriff.
According to the sheriff’s office, an anonymous parent called in stating that their child returned home intoxicated from the alleged party. They say it happened on County Road 200 East.
They said when deputies arrived, several individuals ran toward the woods and 12 were found by law enforcement. As the investigation continued, 21 people were found on the property by law enforcement.
Of the 21 individuals, deputies said six were 21 years of age or older, 12 were between the ages of 18 and 20; three were under the ages 18 and 20 and three were under age 18, the sheriff’s office said.
According to the sheriff, several minors were given a breath test and discovered to be intoxicated. They said marijuana was also supplied and used.
Deputies were notified, by a minor, that a juvenile was upstairs passed out. Deputies said they were informed that the juvenile was extremely intoxicated and was taken upstairs to lie down.
An intoxicated/unresponsive juvenile was found upstairs in the residence They said and juvenile was found unresponsive and EMS was immediately dispatched to the home to provide emergency medical care.
The sheriff said the host of the party, Hunter Sprague, 21, of Perrysville was arrested for Contributing to a delinquency of a minor. Two others, Nicholas Polezoes, 20, of Williamsport, IN, and Parker Siddens-York, 20, of Crawfordsville, IN were arrested for resisting law enforcement. They have since been released with a court date.

- Alexis Russell, 19, of Perrysville, IN
- Chandler Rowe, 20, of Covington, IN
Officials said all 21 people who were present have been filed with the Vermillion County Prosecutor’s Office.
