A Colorado man is in a local jail cell tonight, after he was caught driving his semi on I-70 under the influence.

On Wednesday, just after 4:00 p.m., Indiana State Police pulled over a semi going westbound on I-70, for driving nearly 10 miles over the speed limit.

During the traffic stop, the driver, 48-year-old Omar Gomez of Colorado, displayed signs of impairment and lead troopers to believe he was under the influence.

A breath test was conducted and Gomez tested a .08%.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Vigo County Jail for driving under the influence.
