Police in Daviess County are reaching out to the public for help in the search of a suspect wanted in an armed robbery.
On Sunday April 15, 2018 at approximately 3:00 a.m., the Washington Police Department received a call from Chuckles Gas Station on Hwy 57 N regarding an armed robbery. Officers with the Washington Police Department and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office responded. Officers later discovered that an individual had attempted to forcibly gain entry into 57 Liquors.
The police are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect.
They do have photos of the suspects vehicle obtained from surveillance footage; it is described as a dark blue Dodge Avenger with a spoiler, sunroof and leather.
Police advise folks to not approach the suspect as is considered to be armed and dangerous.
