TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Santa arrived to town and made quite the entrance at Meadows Shopping Center on Saturday.
Santa arrived on a firetruck at noon to greet local children and their families.
To add to Santa’s arrival, there were carolers and musicians to brighten the spirit of the holiday.
“It was something I always did as a child growing up. We always came to see Santa, me and my two sisters, and it’s just something I want to share with my baby,” Local Resident, Brooke Trierweiler, said.
Attendees of the event were also invited to decorate some holiday cookies.
A lighting of the Christmas tree concluded the celebration at 6:30 on Saturday night.
