Roy Clark Dies at 85

Country music legend Roy Clark has passed away.

He died of complications from pneumonia at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The co-host of the famed “Hee Haw” television series was also a Grammy, CMA and ACM award winner.

He was a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry.

Clark visited the Wabash Valley on many occasions, performing shows in Linton with his good friend Phil Harris. The money raised is part of a scholarship awarded every year in Greene County.

The Roy Clark Community Building in Linton’s city park is named after him.

Clark was 85-years-old.
