Rose Hulman welcomes students back-to-school during move-in day

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Rose Hulman welcomed students during their move-in process this afternoon. They have 643 first year incoming students.

Current students and faculty assisted families as they un-packed the cars of students while moving in. Families from over 38 states and 10 countries gathered at the college to help their children move in.

Faculty said they look forward to providing students with a new and safe school year. The vice-president for enrollment management Tom Bear said they will provide an in-person learning experience.

“Throughout the last year with all the Covid restrictions, we were able to maintain that in class room in lab experience for our students”, Tom Bear said, “as we were recruiting perspective students, many who were having high schools that were being shut down are not able to visit at other colleges, we continue to provide that access.”
