TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Rose-Hulman held their annual Holiday Pops concert.

“We have about 200 engineering students here, showcasing creativity and passion of music with our Holiday Pops Concert,” Director of Performing Arts, Daniel Tryon, said.

The Rose-Hulman concert band, choir, symphony and jazz ensemble all came together for this event. The groups preformed several holiday tunes for the audience.

“Well for us, this really is all about the students here at Rose Hulman, and this gives them an outlet to be creative, to still perform, a high number of our students are musicians,” Tryon said.

The concert is the school’s way of spreading holiday cheer to the Wabash Valley while showcasing the students.

This is 17th annual concert. The event is free and open to the public.
