Today is March 14 or 3/14. That’s the same first three numbers for pi, the symbol used to represent the ratio of a circle’s radius with its circumference.
So who better to celebrate “pi day” than Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
And what better way than to give your professor a pie in the face.
Three of them, in fact, were chosen to receive the pies.
Fifty pies were on hand for students to throw for a donation to the Terre Haute Children’s Museum.
The “pie-a-prof” event was organized by the Tau Beta Pi engineering academic honor society.
