A jury trial is underway this week in Vigo County for Robin Kraemer.

She’s one of four people charged in the starvation death of a 9-year-old disabled boy in northern Vigo County.

At the time of his death, Cameron Hoopingarner weighed just 15 pounds. He was also blind and had cerebral palsy. An autopsy revealed he had meth in his system.

Robin Kraemer, Hubert Kraemer, Chad Kraemer and Sarah Travioli face charges of Neglect of a Dependent, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Visiting a Common Nuisance.

Monday was just day one of Robin Kraemer’s trial and began with jury selection.

The other three charged in this case face trial early next year.
