Ribbon-cutting at new counseling center

A new resource for people struggling with substance abuse and mental health is getting the word out about its services in Terre Haute.

There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Coffee Clutch Counseling Services. It’s located in Suite 105 at 2151 Lafayette Avenue.

Rebecca Chambers is the owner and a licensed clinical social worker.

She says it’s important to offer help to people with substance abuse and recognize that it’s a disease.

“I think everybody at some point in time has been touched by substance abuse or mental health, whether it’s an individual, whether it’s family members or good friends,” says Chambers.
