There are new changes to an old establishment in Downtown Terre Haute, and it’s hoped the improvements will inspire other businesses to invest in downtown.
The Verve has completely renovated their bar. The new look will bring a few changes. The night spot will open at four on Fridays and Thursdays. This way, the bar can attract downtown workers at the end of the day. But, just because the bar has a new look doesn’t mean it has completley changed.
“Change is scary for a lot of people but i also thing they are excited about change. I have had a lot of good comments about people coming in and loving it. They said they were really scared we sold the bar but they love it,” said Owner Connie Wrin.
“It really excites me to see a local business invest in their local business because then it encourages other downtown businesses to also maybe make a little tweak or clean up or change their image a little bit. It gets people excited and they want to come downtown and see the changes,” said Downtown Terre Haute Coordinator, Stephanie Pence.
The Grand Re-opening is slated for Friday.
