SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local restaurant will be closing for a couple of weeks to make some upgrades.
Petty Pit Stop in Sullivan will be closed from July 1 through July 14.
The owner says it will give employees a chance to spend more time with their families.
The restaurant will also use this time to do some upgrades.
Jen Petty says downtown Sullivan is home to some older buildings, including her business.
She says it’s time to do some electrical and flooring work, as well as get some new equipment.
“We’ve been talking about wanting to get some new equipment and transitioning some new equipment in, and then we came across some structural things that needed to be worked on. It just made sense to, instead of closing early one day here or there, let’s just take two weeks,” says Petty.
Petty Pit Stop changes their menu every quarter, so they’ll have some new options when they re-open on Monday, July 15.
